D.Tox - Day 7
D.Tox Total Weight Loss: 8.4 pounds.
Today closed out Week 1 of D.tox. Part of what is encouraged is to sit in the sauna a few times a week to get rid of the toxins. Instead of that I decided to take a Hot Vinyasa class. The class is normally taught by Rickita, but she got a sub named Luis. WHAT AN AWFUL CLASS!!! He was way different than any instructor I ever took and not in a good way. People walked out. It was a Cluster F***. Instead of being all zen, I was confused and frustrated. And I'm not a newbie. I've taken yoga classes at LTF since August. I was like this .......
I did sweat buckets but I NEVER want to take a class by this guy ever again.
For food today, I just didn't feel like cooking. I went to a local Middle Eastern restaurant called Sheesh and ordered a fatoosh salad with grilled chicken. The salad I had for lunch the day before really got me in the mood for fatoosh and it is healthy. The order was so huge, I had it for both lunch and breakfast.
Also this afternoon I went to Kohl's and bought some clothes.....normal sized clothes! This is a huge accomplishment because I've been a plus-sized store shopper for the almost 15 years. And I'm stepping outside of the box by getting patterns and not just solid colored clothes. It was definitely exciting.
In terms of how I am feeling as I end this first week, I am doing significantly better than I was at the beginning of the week. That being said, I cant' wait until D.Tox is over. This has been a brutal experience this time around compared to last year.

Training 2014 - Week 2
Wednesday was arm day. It was every bit as tough as Sunday. I was still a smidge sore from Sunday, but it was all good. We'll see how I feel on Thursday morning. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm at least a little sore. I have been working pretty hard.
I'm starting to see some positive things in my reflection. I went to Target last week and bought my first pair of pants from there....REGULAR clothes!!! My pant size in the plus-sized store was a 14, but in the Target pants I am an 18. I'm not too disturbed by the "jump" in sizes because I can fit into pants at a regular store! Very exciting!!!!

Clothes Shopping
When I started out I was in size 22 pants. 22! Even my tops were 20/22. That's the middle range of the plus sized stores. They start at 14 and go to 30 (some go to 32).
I'm pretty excited to say that I am a solid 14. Even some of my 14 things are loose. I have a pair of size 14 pants from the Limited (a normal store!!) that are just a little snug. I hope to be in them in January. The good thing about winter in Michigan is that you can wear your sweaters on the larger, baggy side since it's so flipping cold right now.
Even my workout clothes have changed. I love the C9 line by Champion that is sold at Target. I bought some pants, t-shirts, and sports bras in size XXL the day I started working out. The t-shirts didn't fit when I got home and tried them on, but I kept them anyway. The pants and sports bras were snug, but not excessively tight.
In September, I bought more workout clothes, but in size L! And those XXL t-shirts that didn't fit? They fit now! I think I might have to buy medium sports bras soon and probably pants, too!
So, all of these changes have got me feeling........
